This is Part I of Successful Article Marketing as I would like to give a very brief introduction and overview about the significance of this valuable marketing tool. As indicted before, article marketing is a completely free strategy but there are important components to your articles that must be in alignment for effective results. This series will allow you to easily understand and implement these article marketing components leading to steady online traffic.
Search engines love new and useful content that is accurate, interesting, and pertinent for its readers. In many cases well written articles may rank high in the organic rankings for long periods of time with repeated search engine indexing. When articles are submitted to popular directories like EzineArticles.com and many other free directories, website backlinks are established resulting in increased site popularity.
Articles also brand authors as knowledgeable resources in their respective niche’ adding to a targeted and loyal readership. This is important in business promotion and online branding allowing you to become a knowledgeable and credible resource for readers looking for information. Most people go online looking for information before looking to buy a product or service.
When you decide to implement article marketing into your online strategy, you will obviously write about subject matter that is relevant to your business or products. You are developing a relationship with your readers and the goal is to lead them to your website where they will learn even more valuable information about your business and become part of your sales funnel.
Articles present a great opportunity to build a personal relationship with your readers resulting in a very targeted group of prospects or leads once they click onto your website.
