Now that you have handcrafted an informative and content driven article with a keyword specific title, it is time to complete the Author Resource Area or Author Box portion of your article. In addition to keyword research, completing a strong and convincing Author Box is the most important aspect of your article.

In this part of the MLM Article Marketing Blueprint you will understand the key elements to writing an effective author box so your article can accomplish your goal of driving traffic to your website and improving organic search rankings.

You may wonder why the Author Box is such an important piece of the article puzzle?

First off look at any article as a give and take. A well written article with relevant content is your give to the reader as you are providing valuable information in a particular subject. As a result you are building a readership that in time will look to you for answers or as a valued resource.

Well in turn the author box is your take. Fair is fair and the reason for you to spend your valuable time writing articles is to lead readers to your website links where they can find more information about you and your products or services.

There are some key elements to keep in mind when constructing your author resource box. These components are vital because a poorly written resource box or one that sounds like a sales pitch will not be effective. In turn your readers may get turned off and then you’ve lost them, possibly for good, and you have no chance for them to become a lead or prospect for your business.

If you can follow a few important rules when writing your author resource box you will keep more readers interested and many of them will click through to your websites.

First, your author resource box should be thought of as a continuation of your article. Also you are typically permitted to include two links back to your websites in your author resource box. When using HTML code, your anchor text should be one of your keyword phrases with a link to your website or blog. This is very search engine friendly and it builds keyword links to your sites.

A good rule of thumb is to have one link with keyword anchor text linked to your blog and your second link, also keyword specific, going your product website or lead opt-in page.
